Privacy notice
What we collect when you ask for a quote or subscribe to the newsletter, who we pass it to and how long we keep it.
Who processes your data
The data controller is Genial srl, via Roma 318, 64014 Martinsicuro (TE), Italy, which runs italiacampeggi.com. For any request about your data you can write to commerciale@camping.it.
What we collect
Quote request: first name, surname, email address, phone if you give one, the dates and the kind of holiday you're looking for, how many of you there are and the message you write.
Newsletter: your email address, language, IP address and the date of subscription and confirmation. The newsletter is the one from Camping.it, which has the same data controller, and your address is recorded in that portal's list.
Technical data: the site records IP address, browser and pages visited in order to run the service and protect it from abuse.
Why we use them
The data in your quote request is used to forward it to the properties you choose and to let them reply to you: it is carrying out what you asked us for.
We use your address for the Camping.it newsletter only with your consent, which you confirm by opening the link in the email we send you. You can withdraw it at any time from the link at the bottom of every mailing.
Who receives them
Your quote request goes to the properties you chose, which reply to you directly: each property is an independent controller of the data it receives.
The dispatching of requests to the properties is handled by the Camping.it system, run by the same controller. Beyond that, the data is processed only by the site's technical suppliers (hosting and mail), appointed as processors.
Your newsletter subscription is recorded in the Camping.it list: that's where the mailings go out from and where unsubscribing takes effect. Camping.it has the same data controller as this site, so your address does not leave Genial srl.
We do not sell your data and we do not use it to profile you.
How long we keep them
Quote requests are kept for 24 months, the time needed to reconstruct a case and answer a complaint. A newsletter subscription lasts until you cancel it; we keep a record of the cancellation so we don't write to you again by mistake.
Your rights
At any time you can ask to see your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, receive it in a file or object to the processing: just write to the address above. If you think something is wrong you can turn to the Italian data protection authority (garanteprivacy.it).
Cookies
The site uses only technical cookies, the ones needed to make it work and to keep the form safe from automated submissions. There are no profiling cookies, and technical ones do not require your consent.
Changes
If this notice changes, the new version appears on this page with an updated date.
